Professor Graham Ogg trained in medicine at University of Oxford before specialising in dermatology. Currently he is an MRC Programme Leader at the MRC Human Immunology Unit at the Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine (University of Oxford) and consultant dermatologist at the Oxford University NHS Trust.
Graham’s long term aim is to develop novel therapeutics to improve human health. His broader focus of research is in understanding the interaction between the human skin epithelium and the cellular immune response and its relevance to clinical disease. His focus has been on the role of T cells in inflammatory skin disease which is where the current IP first started.
Graham is an inventor on several patents in this area and related subjects. Additionally, he has been Consultant, Advisory Board member or held research grants with Novartis, Celgene, Eli Lilly, UCB, Janssen, Johnson&Johnson, and Sanofi/Genzyme.
